Marie Honzikova is fashion knitwear designer specialized in hand knitting based in Prague. Her pieces are characterized by mixing traditional high quality craftsmanship with modern and personal creative approach. Since she studied painting in Italy she loves to work with colours, paint directly on knitwear or hand—dye fibers, making unique one—of—a—kind pieces.
All garments are carefully hand knitted (it means no machine, just human hands and knitting needles) by her personally using the best materials available on market with focus on sustainability and slow fashion attitude.
A big bite of her work consists of made-to-order knits or unique commissions, collaborations with fashion brands and other creatives. She also designs knitting patterns because she strongly believe in DIY movement. They are available here or on her Ravelry page. A regular part of her work is teaching at knitting workshops.
