Little bit of Cousteau, little bit of Zissou and little bit of hipster 🐟
Playground Hat is ribbed beanie with double folded edge knitted in brioche stitch.
Pattern includes two sizes: for kids and adults.

Yarn:
— 100 g Natua or Tinta (100 % baby alpaca)
— 25 g föa Nuvia (70 % super kid mohair, 30 % nylon), 25 g/225 m
or the same parameters yarn substitutions

Recommended needles :
— 4,5 mm/40 or 50 cm (or longer for magic loop) circular needle or DPNs

The fit is very comfy. The pattern is for double folded version, but you can adjust your desired length easily just continue to knit a bit more making a longer version or shorter too.

It´s knitted holding one strand of alpaca yarn and one strand of mohair yarn together in a round with brioche stitch which makes this pattern perfect for everyone who would like to approach brioche technique for the first time. It´s shaped with brioche decreases and then a mix of decreases to shape the top of the hat nicely. Very funny knitting and quite fast!
